European Friedrich-List-Award 2022 INTERNATIONAL Internationales Verkehrswesen (74) 2 | 2022 37 After pandemic - before autonomous transport F or the 17 th consecutive time the European Platform of Transport Sciences - EPTS - awards the “European Friedrich List Award”. This prize, dedicated to young transport researchers, is named to honour the extraordinary contributions of Friedrich List, the visionary of transport in Europe of the 19 th century, being a distinguished economist and respected transport scientist committed to the European idea. The European Friedrich List Award is given for out-standing scientific papers in each of the categories Doctorate paper and Diploma paper, addressing topics in the transport field within a European context. This year the award will be conferred during the 20 th European Transport Congress, that will take place 9-10 June 2022 at the University of Győr, Hungary, simultaneous to the 12 th Conference on Transport Sciences. This conference was established by the Department of Transport of the University of Győr to facilitate the cooperation between professionals and disseminate research results in the field of transport. It was held in 2011 for the first time, in order to reach a broader scientific community with an English section from 2016 on.
