International Transportation | Collection 2022 33 European Friedrich-List-Award 2022 SCIENCE & RESEARCH Transport policies - in-challenging times T his year the European Platform of Transport Sciences - EPTS - awarded the “European Friedrich List Award” for the 17th consecutive time. This prize, dedicated to young transport researchers, is named to honour the extraordinary contributions of Friedrich List, the visionary of transport in Europe of the 19th century, being a distinguished economist and respected transport scientist committed to the European idea. The European Friedrich List Award is given for out-standing scientific papers in each of the categories Doctorate paper and Diploma paper, addressing topics in the transport field within a European context. In 2022 the award was conferred during the 20th European Transport Congress, taking place from 9 to 10 June 2022 at the University of Győr, Hungary, simultaneous to the 12th Conference on Transport Sciences. This conference was established by the Department of Transport of the University of Győr to facilitate the cooperation between professionals and disseminate research results in the field of transport. On the following you will find a short selection of this year’s Friedrich List Award submissions in drafts. The next European Transport Congress will take place from 25 to 26 May 2023 at the Czech Technical University in Prague, at the same time as the Smart Cities Symposium 2023.
